On Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at about 12:56 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to the Speedy Stop at 8391 College, in reference to an intoxicated person in the parking lot. When Officers arrived, they attempted to make contact with the suspect however, he fled the scene in his vehicle. The suspect evaded Officers and crossed multiple jurisdictions, continuing into Louisiana. Beaumont Police were assisted by multiple agencies, in which the Louisiana State Police, were able to use spike strips to disable the suspect vehicle. The suspect is identified as Tyronne Seaberry, a 41 year old, Hammond, Louisiana man. Seaberry was arrested and taken to the Calcasieu Parish Jail. He also has a Jefferson County Warrant for Evading Detention with a Motor Vehicle.
