Homicide at 1155 I-10 South (Best Value Inn)

On Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:16 a.m. Beaumont Police received a call in reference to shots fired at the Best Value inn motel located at 1155 I-10 S. Officers arrived shortly after the call and located a deceased victim with gunshot wounds laying next to a vehicle in the parking lot.

Officers located and apprehended a person of interest. The person of interest and several witnesses were transported to the station to be interviewed.

At this time, detectives are still investigating and interviewing witnesses. The deceased victims family has been notified and has been identified as Reginald D. Eaglin, age 30 from Beaumont.
