For your safety, please remain indoors and off the roadways until first responders have had a change to do initial damage assessments. We are still monitoring outer bands of Hurricane Laura and watching to see if it rotates west before moving out of our region. There are power outages throughout Beaumont and reports of fallen trees and debris. You may self-report damage to your home, downed trees or power lines at Beaumonttexas.gov. Click on the blue tab at the top left of the home page and enter your damage information. This is the most efficient way to report your damage quickly. If you do not have online capability, call 409-785-4700 to report damage. See picture of webpage tab for damage reports.
