A 34-year-old Beaumont man suffered minor injuries when the mother of his children struck him with a vehicle then stabbed him during an argument.
The incident occurred yesterday, December 31, at about 5:11 p.m. in a parking lot of a business located in the 2700 block of Washington Blvd. A witnessed phoned our 911 Communications Center and said that a man and women were involved in an argument. The witness further stated that during the argument, the female struck the man with a vehicle, exited the vehicle, stabbed the man once in his left leg, then got back in the vehicle and attempted to strike the injured man again. She then fled the area in the vehicle.
The victim was transported to Baptist ER by private auto. Doctors expected to treat the man for minor injuries then release him.
The female suspect phoned police and officers met her at the intersection of Fourth St. @ Blanchette St. Officers identified the female as 30-year-old Andria Williams of Beaumont. Williams was not injured. Investigation revealed that the victim is the father of Williams’ children. Officers placed Williams under arrest for aggravated assault-family violence.
