Beginning July 2016, the Miller Branch Library is happy to announce “Guided Meditation” classes!
This class is instructed by Rev. Aracelly Torres-Champagne, O.M.C. Through a group setting, Rev. Torres-Champagne guides individuals in the practice of meditation so that participants can learn to release stress and generate a state of calm. By refocusing to be present, we gain an understanding that the mind is a tool and that we choose the thoughts in our mind; therefore, we can create a more pleasant experience regardless of the circumstances and events.
As an Ordained Ministerial Counselor, Rev. Aracelly Torres-Champagne decided to devote her life to following the Holy Spirit’s lead and helping others heal their minds. Cultivating a routine of meditation helps individuals overcome suffering and recognize natural wisdom by learning to quiet the thoughts of their minds and create tranquility of Love and Peace.
Rev. Aracelly Torres-Champagne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and worked as an International Banking Operations Manager and Credit and Collections Manager for Latin America.
Classes will meet every Tuesday from 3:00pm to 3:30pm in the RC Miller Conference Room.
Join us and make steps towards removing stress, balancing your emotions, and finding inner peace.
