On Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:50 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to 4955 Pine (Forrest Lawn Cemetery) in reference a crashed vehicle being located in the woods at the back of the property. When Officers arrived they located the vehicle at the bottom of a 20 foot drop-off in the woods. A deceased body was located in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. The deceased person has been identified as 31 year old Terrel Martin. Martin was reported missing on July 11, 2019 but was reported to have last been seen on July 5, 2019. BPD’s Traffic Unit and Person’s Detectives are investigating the cause of his death. Next of kin has been notified.
