The instrument has been located.

On Friday, December 29, 2017 at about 10:45a.m., Beaumont Emergency Management was notified of a missing, low-grade,  radioactive instrument. The missing instrument is used in welding applications. It is similar in size to a loaf of bread and weighs approximately 60 Lbs. Below is a picture of the missing instrument. If located, call the Beaumont Police Department at 409-832-1234. The company, Versa Integrity Group is offering a reward for the return of the instrument.
