Quenten Joseph Pete Kenneth Wayne Johnson Tristan Kavon Jackson
Our Narcotics Unit and Special Assignment Unit used Crime Stoppers tips to help develop information that led to the execution of two narcotics search warrants at houses in the north end of Beaumont. The search warrants resulted in the arrests of three men believed to be distributing “synthetic marijuana.”
On Tuesday, January 6, at about 7:30 p.m., officers served search warrants at two houses located in the 3600 block of Lorilee. During the execution of the search warrants, officers found about a half pound of “synthetic marijuana”, a large amount of an unknown chemical substance possibly being used to manufacture “synthetic marijuana”, and a large amount of paraphernalia used to package and sale “synthetic marijuana.”
Officers arrested thirty-eight-year old Quenten Joseph Pete, twenty-four-year-old Kenneth Wayne Johnson, and nineteen-year-old Tristan Kavon Jackson, all of Beaumont. All three face charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance /Penalty Group 2.
At this point in the investigation, officers do not have definitive proof that these arrests are connected to the recent rash of overdoses related to the use of “synthetic marijuana.”
