On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at about 1:15 a.m., Beaumont Police located a stolen vehicle exiting a gas station at the corner of Eastex and Lucas. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver, a reported runaway and wanted subject, fled from Officers in the the vehicle before crashing at the intersection of 11th Street and Delaware. After crashing, the suspect fled from Officers on foot, however was quickly apprehended. After placing the suspect under arrest, it was learned that he had several outstanding directives to apprehend for probation violations. The suspect was transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center.
