On Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 12:46 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to the 4600 block of Detroit in reference to a victim of a shooting. Upon their arrival they found a grey 2016 Hyundai Veloster in a ditch and were flagged down by the occupants of the vehicle. The victim ( who had been inside the vehicle as well) suffered a gun shot wound to the left arm. He was transported to a local hospital where he was taken into surgery.
