At 8:10pm last night, an aggravated robbery occurred just outside of Dillard’s in the Parkdale Mall parking lot. Beaumont Police Department’s patrol officers were dispatched to robbery, and upon their arrival, they spoke with the victim who described what took place. The victim told the officers that as she was placing her items into her car, a black male who appeared to be in his late 20’s or early 30’s, approached her with a t-shirt pulled over his face. She also told officers that he pointed a silver handgun at her, demanded her wallet, and snatched her purse from her arm. Afterwards, the robber ran to a black, full-sized truck with a wide racing stripe on the roof and tailgate, and left the area.
