Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers will hold a Press Conference Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Beaumont Police Department lobby. This press conference will launch Crime Stoppers’ new illegal gun initiative, “Gun 250”
In an effort to combat violent crime in our community, Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers is initiating a campaign called Gun 250. Gun 250 is aimed at encouraging citizens in the community that know someone who is in illegal possession of a firearm, to anonymously report it. Citizens can earn up to $250 when they call, text (using the P3 Tips App), or submit their tips to Crime Stoppers using keyword “Gun250” followed by their tip. All tips are anonymous and you will not be asked for your name!
