The St. Patrick’s Calder 5k will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, beginning at 9AM. Both the start and finish line are at the intersection of 10th and Calder Avenue, near Rao’s Bakery (2596 Calder Avenue). To see the route map, click here. 

 

“After a long two-year hiatus, we’re thrilled to have the Calder 5K back on the calendar,” Event Coordinator, Andrew Messina said. “The route weaves through the historic Old Town District paying homage to Beaumont’s past and future. It’s an opportunity for all of Southeast Texas to have some fun, get some exercise, and celebrate with the community.” 

 

You can register online until Thursday, March 17 at 11:59PM, or in-person during Packet Pickup on Friday, March 18. The registration fee is $25, and everyone is invited! Packet Pickup will take place at the Beaumont Tennis Center (6475 College Street) on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 9AM-3PM.  

 

There will be awards for overall male, overall female, as well as 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place finishers in each five-year age group, but everyone is encouraged to participate. The age groups are as follows: 1-9, 10-14,15-19,20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 25-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
