At 11:39PM, Beaumont Fire suppression units were dispatched to a reported building on fire at 4575 Ford. Units arrived to find a detached garage involved by fire. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within fifteen minutes after arriving on scene. They were able to prevent the fire from extending into the single family dwelling . A fire investigator was contacted and responded and is working to determine the cause of the fire. At this time the fire is currently under investigation. The occupant/owners were home at the time and called 911. No injuries were sustained by the occupants or responding firefighters.
