Just before 7:00 PM, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to a structure fire at 610 Palm Street. When firefighters arrived they found a vacant duplex fully involved by fire. The fire caused extensive damage to the structure but firefighters were able to prevent any damage to the surrounding homes. The burned structure was vacant and “red tagged” for demolition. There were no injuries to any firefighters. The investigation is continuing but preliminary information indicates several juvenile males may be involved in causing the fire.
