Surrendering an Owned or Stray Animal

Owner Surrender

*Owner surrenders are done by appointment only. 

• Only City of Beaumont residents may surrender an owned animal to Beaumont Animal Care.
• A photo ID is required to surrender an owned animal.
• Beaumont Animal Care does not accept owner surrendered animals on Saturday.
• Beaumont Animal Care does not accept owner surrendered animals after 4:30pm.
• All fees must be paid in order for Beaumont residents to surrender an animal.
• To surrender a pet, dogs must be leashed and cats must be in a carrier or secured ventilated container.

Stray Surrender

• Only stray animals found within Beaumont city limits may be surrendered to Beaumont Animal Care.
• Beaumont Animal Care does not accept stray surrenders on Saturday. • Beaumont Animal Care does not accept stray surrenders after 4:30pm.

Owner Requested Euthanasia

Beaumont Animal Care does not offer owner requested euthanasia. However, owners may still surrender their animal to Beaumont Animal Care upon paying the required fees.
