The December Freeze came upon us pretty quick, and we got prepared for it even quicker!
In a joint effort between the City of Beaumont, City of Beaumont Emergency Operations Center, and One City Church, we turned some of our Beaumont Transit busses into warming stations that served two purposes: one being to create a warming station where the homeless can come in and get out of the weather, and the second reason being to serve as transportation to one of the shelters such as the Salvation Army or Some Other Place.
