The Beaumont Public Library System Announces My First Library Card
Beginning Monday, October 7 2019, My First Library Card will be provided to all new borrowers through the age of 12. Receiving a first library card is a very special and exciting event in a young reader’s life. The library system wants to celebrate this event with a certificate, a sticker and a bookmark.
To be eligible for these special gifts, a child
- Must bring their parent or legal guardian to one of the branch libraries
- They both must be Beaumont residents
- The parent/legal guardian must have a current Texas photo ID with a current address in Beaumont
- The library card application must be completed; they both need to sign the application at the same time.
- The children applying can apply through age 12.
Visit any of the four branch libraries in Beaumont:
- The Main Library – Downtown
- The Theodore Johns Library – Fannett Road
- The R.C. Miller Library – Dowlen Road
- The Elmo Willard Library – East Lucas Drive
This year’s theme is Disney’s Toy Story.
