The Elmo Willard Branch Library Announces July Activities for Children

Children’s Librarian, Robin Smith, leads the Preschool Story Times on Thursday mornings at 10:30am.  The themes for July include:

  • July 5 – Juicy Fruit – Join us for a tasty treat of fruit filled stories, a craft and a sweet juicy snack.
  • July 12 – Roar, Roar Dinosaur – Stories and a dinosaur craft.
  • July 19 – Windy Day – It’s hot outside but we have a cool breeze inside with these windy day stories and a craft.
  • July 26 – Going Buggy – Get buggy with us as we read stories and make a craft with ladybugs, spiders, crickets and more.

Each summer the library offers activities related to our Summer Reading Club theme.  This year the theme is Libraries Rock.  Our special activities will be taking place on Friday mornings at 10:30am.  Please note two of the activities do require registration.

July 6 – Rock the Locks! – The box is locked with 5 different locks.  Help find the clues and solve the puzzles to open the locks for a prize.  Ages 6 – 12
