The City of Beaumont has been very busy these past few months! The start of Summer has already brought some record heat, but we’ve braved the weather and made some major progress in making this city better than it has ever been.


Over 3,000 citizens celebrated Juneteenth with us in Downtown Beaumont
8,000+ citizens celebrated the 4th of July Celebration at the Downtown Event Centre
April – June:
3,177 Answered Calls for Service
798 Animals Processed for Intake
172 Animals Adopted
382 Animals Pulled by Rescue
April – June:
21,830 Calls to 3-1-1 Resolved
156 New Residential Construction Permits Issued
14 New Commercial Construction Permits Issued
153 Certificates of Occupancy Issued
…all in the past three months!

New Beaumont ZIP Busses Hit The Streets!

Beaumont Transit has gone through a complete re-branding, complete with new busses, a new website, and a new app. These inclusive, accessible busses have a brand new look, and are equipped with features like bike racks for added convenience in your commute.
