Friday, 8/11/2017, shortly after 12 Noon, Beaumont Fire Rescue and Beaumont EMS units responded to a report of two children with burn injuries at 8275 Oak Ridge.
Firefighters and Paramedics found a boy. age 1, and a girl, age 2, had been burned by a chemical spilled on the floor of their home. Firefighters and Paramedics treated the children on scene and helicopter transport to a burn center was requested.
The girl was transported by Air Rescue and the boy was transported by Life Flight. Both children were taken to UTMB in Galveston.
Beaumont Police are investigating the circumstances.
