Detectives have released the name of a suspect arrested Memorial Day weekend for a triple shooting at Magnolia Park.
The man is 34-year-old Beaumont resident Michael Jason Green. Green is still in the county jail facing two counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated assault. Each capital murder charge carries a 5 million dollar bond and the aggravated assault charge carries a $100.000 bond.
Detectives have also obtained additional warrants for a second man connected to the shootings. Detectives are looking for 31-year-old Beaumont resident Desmond Arnez Nixon. Detectives have identified Nixon as a second shooter in the incident. Nixon also faces two counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated assault. Nixon is a black male, about 6’00” and weighs about 210 pounds.
