BEAUMONT, Tx. – On Saturday 3/18/2017 shortly after 6:30 AM a vehicle drove through the front of a business in the 2800 Block of Eastex Freeway Service Road. The business, Merry Maids, was closed at the time of the incident and there were no employees inside at the time. The vehicle had a driver and a passenger inside when the incident occurred and neither were hurt. The structure was examined by Beaumont Police, Fire and Building Codes which was determined to be structurally sound. After a few repairs the business will reopen as normally scheduled on Monday. -JB
