On Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 1:47 a.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Corley in reference to a shooting. Officers arrived and located a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The juvenile victim was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the juvenile victim and the suspect were in the same room when the gun was fired. When the juvenile was shot, the suspect immediately left the residence and fled on foot.
The suspect has been identified as Christian Aguilar, 19 years of age from Beaumont. If you have any information as to Aguilar’s whereabouts contact the Beaumont Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas at 833-TIPS (8477). The investigation is still ongoing.
