Victim of shooting 3300 block of Fannin

On Saturday, November 25, 2018 at 11:17 p.m. Beaumont Police responded to 3355 Fannin in reference to a victim of shooting. Upon arrival officers learned that there were two separate wedding parties at this location. A BISD off-duty officer was working the events when a fight broke out in the parking lot.

During the fight a suspect involved pulled out a shotgun and shot at the people fighting. The suspect struck several in the crowd and then left the scene. Several people were treated for minor non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators were called out and took over the investigation. No victims involved in the incident or witnesses wanted to cooperate with the investigation.
