Today at 9:25 a.m. Beaumont Police Officers responded to Laurel and 21st street in reference to a female victim bleeding in the street. The female had stab wounds to her head and chest area. The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Through the investigation it was determined that the female victim was stabbed at a residence in the 3700 block of Holland drive where officers located three small unattended children inside the residence. Child Protective Services (CPS) responded to the scene. Police are looking for a person of interest (Suspect), Miguel Perez, age 39 from Beaumont.
