On 3-17-16, at approximately 11:58 p.m. Beaumont Police officers responded to the scene of an auto pedestrian accident in the 2000 block of Martin Luther King. Investigation revealed that the victim was walking north in the left hand lane of traffic and was struck by a vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital and was prepped for surgery. There were no signs of intoxication from either party involved in the accident.
