Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:26 P.M., Officers responded to the 4500 block of Ironton in reference to a victim of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officer found a 50 year old male had a stab wound to the chest. He told officers his common law wife stabbed him. He was transported to St Elizabeth Hospital were he was being treated for a severe stab wound to the chest.
The wife, Lewis, Martini, 39 year old Beaumont woman, was transported to the Family Violence Office, and gave a statement. Lewis was then transported to JCCF, where she was booked in for Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon- Family Violence.
