Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at approximately 11:00 AM officers arrested Shemeca La’Shawn Pugh, 37 year old Beaumont woman, in the 6500 block of Phelan BLVD, for two Aggravated Robbery warrants. Pugh was transported to Beaumont Police Detective Division and then to Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at approximately 4:30 AM, officers responded to an Aggravated Robbery that had just occurred at 5710 Hwy 105 (Express Mart). The suspect, a black female wearing a blue hoody with a hat underneath and blue jeans, robbed the clerk with a black handgun. The suspect took money and cigarettes. While officers were on scene investigating this robbery, a robbery in progress call was put out for 7110 Eastex (Exxon) at 4:46 AM. Officers went to that location and located the suspect behind the store.
Teual Lashawn Harper, 46 year old Beaumont woman, was taken into custody. She had pockets full of cash and inside her left jacket pocket was a 9mm handgun. Witnesses, both clerks and the suspect were transported to the station to give a statement.
Harper is a possible suspect in an aggravated robbery that occurred Monday morning, October 10, 2016 at 2:04 AM at the Fastlane located at 255 Dowlen Rd.
Detectives are still investigating the robberies and are looking for a female that is a person of interest. She recorded the October 10th robbery on her cell phone. She is a thin black female and drives a white SUV.
